Jota de Manila 　(ホタ　デ　マニラ）

This is a popular dance that originated in Manila around the 19^th century which is an adaptation of the Castillian Jota.　The castanets are made of turns and twirls.

スペインの影響を強く受け、竹でできたカスタネットを使って踊る。1898年のフィリピンの独立を記念して踊った祝いの踊り。
